August 2010
- Spent 9 days teaching/playing at Victor Wooten's music camp in Tennesse. It was the last part of a 3 week intensive with 30 bass players from around the world. Picture all of them playing Jaco's Teen Town at the same time.........incredible. I'm very lucky to be a part of the magic that happens at Wooten Woods.
- Recorded tracks for Eric Struthers' (Neville Brothers, etc., guitar player) and Anthony Wellington's (Victor Wooten Band, etc.,) next CD's. Was very honored to have the opportunity to play on both their projects. Mike Bernal was the engineer.
- Taught at Planet Bluegrass' Song School in Lyons. 60 singer/songwriters in a very beautiful setting. Got to hang with some amazing people. It was a very inspiring experience.
- Played at the Rocky Mountain Folks Festival. Sat in on the main stage with Darrell Scott's set and also Joe Craven. 3,000 very happy people! Also played a fun set with the Pete Kartsounes Band in the Wildflower Pavilion. Got to meet and hang with the legend John Prine. I don't think it gets any better than John Prine.
- Played the Yarmonygrass Festival on the shores of the mighty Colorado River. Thanks to Elephant Revival, Railroad Earth, Head for the Hills and Kyle Hollingsworth Band w/DJ Logic for letting me in on the fun!
July 2010
- Played some great local gigs with the Brooks-I Band and my trio. Pagosa Springs has the greatest small town 4th of July parade/rodeo/fireworks celebration!
- Got to play Bari sax all night with the funkiest band in Colorado (The Motet) on the most beatiful stage in the world (Telluride). I really love playing the funky stuff.
June 2010
- Had a blast camping with my kids and playing the Pagosa Folk-n-Bluegrass Festival www.folkwest.com/ . Thanks to Honey Don't, The Belleville Outfit, Missy Raines and the New Hip and Halden Wofford and the Hi-Beams for letting me in on the fun. The highlight for me was playing with headliner Darrell Scott. He is one of my all-time favorites and it was a real honor to join him for his encore.
- Played the Thirsty Ear Festival in Santa Fe, NM. It was held at the Eaves Movie Ranch were many great western's were filmed. It was a trip to look out from the stage down the main street from the movie Silverado. Had the honor of playing with Darrell Scott and also a tune with the Alex Maryol Band.
- Had some fun local gigs with the Brooks-I Band. We played for hundreds of people riding their bikes across Colorado. Brooks Lindner has lots of fun original music and he's a great entertainer.
May 2010
- The Desert Rocks Festival http://www.desertrocks.org/ in Moab, Utah was a magical/mystical weekend full of great music with the desert in full bloom. Three stages going all night long until the sun came up. Was honored to sit in with Wisebird, The Motet, White Water Ramble, The Beckham Brothers and Gigi Love. What a great way to kick off the summer!
- Played a really fun festival at Mishawaka http://www.waterfrontmusicfestival.net/ on the Poudre River outside of Fort Collins, CO. Played a full set with The Pete Kartsounes Band and sat in with Wicked Messenger (Adam and Ben from Yonder Mt String Band), Nershi's Blue Planet (Bill Nershi and Keith Moseley from String Cheese Incident) and Greensky Bluegrass. About a 1,000 hardy music fans danced their butts off (partly to stay warm).
April 2010
- Played with a great Austin band "Wisebird". These guys remind me of a young Allman Brothers Band. They are touring hard.....don't miss them. http://www.myspace.com/wisebird
- Recorded three songs at Swingfingers Studio in Fort Collins for Pete Kartsounes' next CD. It should be out in August and is guarenteed to be a great one.
- Joined the Pete Kartsounes Band for some great shows at Winterpark Ski area, Boulder and Denver. Anders Beck (Dobro) from Greensky Bluegrass also played.....the band was rockin and has the potential to become a big force in the festival circuit. Danny Sears joined us on trumpet one night.
- Spent an incredible week teaching and playing at Victor Wooten's Bass/Nature camp. Words can't describe the experience! Got to jam with Victor Bailey (Weather Report, Madonna) and Divinity (Beyonce's band). http://www.bassnaturecamp.com/index.html
- Helped bring Joe Craven www.joecraven.com to the High School. He did several assemblies and an evening concert. Joe is one of the most creative and inspirational people I know.

March 2010 - After a relatively slow winter, March came blowin' in hard. Some of the highlights include:
- Playing two shows with Sarah Siskind and her husband Travis Book. Sarah is one of the top singer/songwriters in our country and her latest CD "Say it Louder" is a true masterpiece. www.sarahsiskind.com
- Several shows and a High School assembly with the very talented Pete Kartsounes http://www.myspace.com/petekmusic We also warmed up for bluesman John Nemeth www.johnnemethblues.com and got to play a couple of tunes with him.
- Playing a tune at the sold out Infamous Stringdusters show. These six guys are the hottest thing to come out of Nashville in a long time. They are ready to take over the world. http://www.thestringdusters.com/
- Playing a sold out show with Boulder based The Motet www.themotet.net/ Oh my........I forgot how much I love playing funky horn-driven music. These guys are so funky and groove oriented that nobody could stand still.
